What is Matcha?

What's the Best Way to Store My Matcha?

Matcha powder is sensitive to light and air, once exposed it will start degrading slowly.

Our recommendation is to keep Daily Matcha out of the light and in an airtight container to prevent oxidization. This will extend your Matcha's vibrancy and flavour over a longer period of time.

Chilling your Matcha powder in the fridge is also a great way to increase longevity.

Best consumed within 1 month of opening for maximum freshness.

Where is your Matcha Sourced From?

We work closely with a small, family run, organic farm in Kagoshima, Japan who is Japanese Agricultural Standard (JAS) certified organic.

Japanese matcha is flavourful and high in nutritional value because the tea leaves are grown in good quality soil and are shaded (to increase chlorophyll levels) prior to harvesting.

What's your favourite way to have Matcha?

Daily Matcha Tips:

Sift 1/2 tsp (1g) of matcha and whisk it with 30ml of hot water (~80°C). Mix in sweetener of choice if desired. Add 150ml of steamed milk and enjoy your warm matcha latte.

To enjoy an iced matcha latte, pour cold milk over ice, then add your whisked matcha mixture over it.

We recommend consuming between 1/2 tsp (1g) to 1 tsp (2g) of Matcha per day.
